Have you heard of the Pareto principle? It basically says that 80% of the result is achieved with 20% effort and vice-versa.
As usual, I’ve applied this principle to a fantastic recipe found at Jamie Oliver’s site, adapting it to the basic ingredients I had at home. The result was delicious, and it took only 20 minutes of work (plus a little waiting) to complete.

Preparation
- Mince the garlic. Season the lamb chops with sea salt, rosemary, cumin and minced garlic.
- Pour it all into a plastic bag or foil. Sprinkle with olive oil, close the bag and rub it so the lamb will absorb all the ingredients.
- You should leave it for an hour or two so it all mixes nicely, but if you’re in a hurry you can skip this step.
- Heat a grill pan and add the chops. Grill them for 4-5 minutes each side until they’re golden brown and sizzling.
You can serve with rice, sour cream or any salad you prefer.
