Have you heard of the Pareto principle? It basically says that 80% of the result is achieved with 20% effort and vice-versa.

As usual, I’ve applied this principle to a fantastic recipe found at Jamie Oliver’s site, adapting it to the basic ingredients I had at home. The result was delicious, and it took only 20 minutes of work (plus a little waiting) to complete.

Preparation

  1. Mince the garlic. Season the lamb chops with sea salt, rosemary, cumin and minced garlic.
  2. Pour it all into a plastic bag or foil. Sprinkle with olive oil, close the bag and rub it so the lamb will absorb all the ingredients.
  3. You should leave it for an hour or two so it all mixes nicely, but if you’re in a hurry you can skip this step.
  4. Heat a grill pan and add the chops. Grill them for 4-5 minutes each side until they’re golden brown and sizzling.

You can serve with rice, sour cream or any salad you prefer.
